The Winter Standard

What we promise when it’s snowing — and what we don’t.

2″

The trigger

Two inches on the ground puts your property on the route — no call needed, ever. Under that, de-icing judgment calls are ours to make, and we make them.

12–24

The guarantee

We can’t promise the exact hour your driveway gets cleared — a storm decides that. We do guarantee it is cleared within 12 to 24 hours after the snow stops falling.

The scope

Driveway, walks and steps — every visit. De-icing on request or standing. Mailbox approach kept clear, because the little things are the standard.

1

The crew

Same company that kept your lawn all summer. Same standard, same phone number, all year — because we’re here for a relationship with you, not a one-off transaction.

How contracts work

Two ways to buy winter. One right answer for most homes.

Seasonal · most homes choose this

One price, whole winter.

From $800per season · see pricing

Every plowable snowfall from first flake to spring melt, one flat seasonal rate. Heavy winter, light winter — your cost doesn’t move and your driveway doesn’t wait.

  • Predictable — budget once in October, done
  • Priority routing on big storms
  • De-icing can be built in

Per-event

Pay when it snows.

From $70per push · up to 5″, then +$7 per inch

Per-push clearing is $70 for a typical residential driveway on snowfalls up to 5 inches, then $7 per inch for every inch above that — so you pay for the storm you actually got. Makes sense for light-use properties or snowbirds gone half the winter — but on a heavy year it costs more than seasonal, and seasonal homes get plowed first.

  • No snow, no bill
  • Same crew, same standard
  • Routed after seasonal homes

Heads up — routes fill before the first plowable snow, and we keep each truck’s route deliberately tight so every driveway on it gets done as fast as possible. Reserving in fall is what makes winter boring.

Residential snow removal pricing — winter 2026–27

We are now taking residential snow removal customers for the upcoming winter season. Standard pricing applies to 1–4 car residential driveways in our route areas — and every visit is completed within 12 hours of the snow stopping.

Driveway Only

$800/season

Full driveway and approach cleared after every qualifying snowfall, all winter.

Driveway + Front Sidewalk

$1,100/season

Everything in Driveway Only, plus your small front sidewalk and steps.

+ City Sidewalk

$1,300/season

Driveway, small front sidewalk, and your small city sidewalk footage — the whole property obligation handled.

Corner lots, long sidewalks, steep driveways, large driveways, difficult access, or properties with heavy hand-shoveling are quoted on site.

Fair-winter promise: the seasonal snowfall adjustment

To keep seasonal pricing fair in both directions:

  • Light winter (under 20″ total): we refund $15 per inch under 20 inches.
  • Heavy winter (over 70″ total): we charge $15 per inch over 70 inches.

Seasonal totals are based on official local snowfall reporting. A very light winter shouldn’t cost you full price — and an extreme one shouldn’t break our crew. Everyone stays protected.

Reserve Your Winter Route

We take a limited number of homes per route so service stays reliable during storms — spots go before the first snowfall.

What the price covers

What $50 a visit gets you, and what moves the number.

Included at $50

  • A typical residential driveway, cleared curb to garage door
  • The front walk and the path to your door
  • Snow stacked clear of sightlines and the mailbox
  • No call-out fee, no fuel surcharge, no minimum number of visits

What moves it up

  • Long, steep or multi-car drives that need a second pass
  • Deep events — past roughly eight inches we quote the storm, not the visit
  • Salt and de-icer, priced separately so you pay only when it is actually needed
  • Commercial lots, which we quote on site

If your property is bigger than a standard drive, tell us and we put the number in writing before winter starts. We would rather quote it honestly in October than surprise you in January. The price you agree is the price you pay, and it does not move because a storm came in worse than the forecast said it would.

How a storm actually runs

Straight about the timing. Certain about the window.

  1. 01

    Our crews watch the storm.

We track it as it comes in, not just the night before, so we can dispatch as soon as we can. Two inches on the ground puts you on the route — you never have to call.

  2. 02

We keep our routes tight on purpose.

Properties are grouped close together instead of spread across the metro, so every driveway on the route gets cleared as fast as possible and people can get to work on time.

  3. 03

Cleared within 12 to 24 hours after the snow stops.

Here is the honest version: we cannot guarantee the exact time a driveway will be cleared. What we do guarantee is that it is cleared within 12 to 24 hours of the storm ending.

  4. 04

You always know where we are.

Communication is the part we can promise every single time. You will know where our crews are and that we are working as fast as we can. Clear communication, every storm.

After four inches. Driveway, walks and steps — every visit.

Salting and ice management

Clearing the snow is half the job — what refreezes overnight is the half that puts people on the ground. We provide salting services and ice management for driveways, walkways, steps and small commercial areas: treated after clearing, and re-treated on melt-refreeze days when a sunny afternoon turns into a black-ice morning.

  • Walkway and step salting with every residential visit, on request or as part of your plan.
  • Commercial salting for entrances, sidewalks and small lots — with service records available.
  • Refreeze-aware timing: shaded and north-facing surfaces get attention when the rest of the street looks dry.

Four Years Of Winters

“We absolutely love this team. We've been clients for 4 years now and can't say enough amazing things about them. The great care taken with our lawn, the spring cleanups, and the winterization when the time comes is beyond impeccable. Go with them and I promise, you can't go wrong.”

Frequently asked

Winter, answered.

Fall. We cap each truck’s route so it stays tight and everyone on it gets cleared quickly, and those routes fill before the first plowable snow. Summer and early-fall reservations get first pick.

Never. Two inches triggers the route automatically, and our crews are already watching the storm. You’ll hear from us as it comes in, and your driveway is cleared within 12 to 24 hours after the snow stops.

No, and we won’t pretend otherwise — a storm decides how a route runs. What we guarantee is that your driveway is cleared within 12 to 24 hours after the snow stops, and that you always know where we are and that we’re working as fast as we can.

De-icing is available standing (every visit) or on request — walks, steps and the driveway apron, with product appropriate to the temperature.

Yes — winter is how our year-round crew stays year-round. Same standard, same faces, same number to text. We’re building a relationship with your property, not working a list of one-off jobs.

Tell us about the property. We'll put your price in writing.

Winter service is quoted per property for the season or per event, based on the driveway, the walks and the route. A person reads every one of these, not a queue.
